hey! i think a lot of it had to do because i liked making ladylike so much, loved working with freddie, but also because there wasn't really a precedent for leaving buzzfeed besides one or two people? a LOT of the original buzzfeed workers still work there (after 3-4 years), and they aren't encouraged to leave or try and do their own thing. so there's kind of a mentality of "if you leave, things aren't going to go well for you, all of the biggest OG personalities are still here!" etc. but i am loving doing my own thing now
