She said (what I thought) "I love you more than words" I thought 'WOW, that is so sweet and mature and poetic" when I said, do you really love me more than words? She said, "NO, I said I love you more than WORMS!" LOL, I love the story to this day!

When she said: "That's really important for me" Gosh!! she's so cute and smart!! But, people, don't belive that girls/boys that don't talk like this aren't smart as this girl. There were and there are many genius people that have speech and lenguaje problems. If a kid can't speak well doesn't mean that she/he can't be very intelligent.

howlbeast I think what this comment is trying to say is that when we read the description, most of us assumed that it was the mom who was going to explain to the little girl that she loves her more than she loves herself (which obviously is true) but it was surprising to see that such a young soul is capable of vocalizing that sentiment.

Five Dee so cute!!! Maybe she look like she's kinda uncomfortable because she doesn't immediately comprehend the idea of her kid thinking about her being murdered, but it's a way of a kid naturally thinks when she watches or dreamt about something worst and instantly scares and try to take it away fr her mom!

When the little girl said that what scares her the most is that her mummy would get murdered it reminded me of how I was always scared that my mum wasn't going to come home because something bad had happened to her. I was always afraid that she'd been killed and this started when I was 4 years old. I'm 26 now and I still have times when I think my mum's been involved in a car accident especially when she doesn't answer the phone when I ring her or when she doesn't call me considering we speak multiple times a day.

Hil S This has reminded me of the same fear. I have a memory of being about 3 or 4 (we moved house after that and the memory is from my old house) of my mum being late home and I worked myself up into a state. I remember knowing I shouldn't show my fear but as time went on I was so panicked thinking she was dead I was sitting at the window of the front door looking out praying that she would turn the corner and be home but silently cos I "knew" at that age it wasn't "how I should be behaving". Another time in the same house, so 3 or 4, I remember my parents being out and we had a close family friend babysitting and we went to bed and I couldn't sleep because of worrying so much about my parents dying in a car crash on the way home. I went into my parents' room and took an item of clothing and lay with it and sniffed it so I could smell them. Is that normal?! 😂

it's not advice, it's the truth. she shouldn't say it's the only reason boys do that, but it's certainly one of them. I'd tell the girl that sometimes this happens, and the reason is because boys don't always feel free to express their emotions, or they just don't know how. so instead of telling a girl that he likes her, he fights that feeling by being mean to her. she shouldn't tolerate this behavior, but maybe she could ask him why he's treating her this way and explain how it makes her feel
@jnnlis
@jnnlis 8 жыл бұрын

@wge621

you're right, even though boys bully girls very frequently, there isn't much data (supporting any hypothesis) on the why. which makes sense because you can't simply ask young boys "why did you bully this girl" and expect them to say "because I like her". but just because something is difficult or even impossible to study doesn't mean the phenomenon doesn't exist, it's very common even if it doesn't happen in every instance. I get that people don't want to support this kind of teasing and get girls to accept bullying just 'because he likes you', but if I was raising a girl, I'd want her to know that that's a possibility and how to approach the situation knowing that.

Sometimes it's so easy to get caught up in all those stupid headlines like "Get Your Pre-Baby Body Back" and "How to Shed Those Unwanted Baby Pounds". But then you see something like this. And you stop thinking about the price of motherhood and start marveling about the prize of motherhood: a wonderfully intelligent loving child. The way the mother looks at the daughter and vice versa is not something that can be measured in pounds or cellulite. The way the daughter loves those things that those articles warn us we must be wary of: her mother's warmth, her mother's face, her mother's softness. Videos like this help to cut through all the noise of destructive headlines that are created simply to make us hate ourselves so that we consume more. This little girl is a gift. I hope that one day I too can be a mother to a child like her. Any weight gain, any change in my face or body will be more than worth it.

This young girl if not already is gonna be someone influential and inspirational. Wow. The articulation in her voice. So grounded and well spoken. Her parents raised her well enough to understand just being you is all that you need to be. And to be emotionally intelligent at that age, words cannot describe. She definitely is an true empath.

Me also. My Mother was early twenties when she had me, so she was still "growing up" as I was growing up. Now that we are both extremely independent of one another it's as if we have gone far astray emotionally.

I have chosen never to have children and I never will, however, if anyone asks what I think I'll miss out on the most by remaining Childfree, I'd say having a child like this one who loves her mommy so much and isn't afraid to express it. Wow, you've got good girl, please protect her from all the evils of the world.

Good! She gave her daughter a healthy idea of how relationships should work! It's important to shut down the idea that "people pick on people they like" because it can sometimes allow people to tolerate unhealthy relationships because they believe that being cruel equates to love.

I think I'm most impressed by mom's strength. How she didn't burst into tears after every response her little one gave, I don't know...I'm currently drowning in my own. It speaks to her strength of character. It seems obvious she didn't want to impress upon her daughter any emotion that might sway her judgment or true feeling. It's beautiful, and so powerful.

These type of videos reflect so much not only on their side of the relationship they have as mother and daughter, but also how you can reflect for yourself. If you don't have a mother or any adult/guardian you were close to then you need to think about how you are able to be close and what you have to offer if you ever become a parent. Many times we don't want to give the same mistakes we've been given, but you have to think more about what greater things you can offer to break those chains. This sets that perfect example.
