How about a step by step video on EXACTLY how to set up a NON INTERNET Event which would include iPhone to record, IPad displaying QR code, while mirroring the iPhone to Apple TV for live display. And in video REALLY show all the screens within each device as you connect/disconnect and change stuff. Show what devices are hooked to what exactly (in wifi settings, when you scan event QR code, etc etc). We need NON internet videos from start to finish, showing all screens. And when there is no internet exactly what guest do to get their videos later. Do they scan the QR code for a later download, or where/what exactly do they do when the video at an event isn’t uploading using scanpix non internet option

So any advice ….my iPad kept disconnecting from my iPhone and it wouldn’t auto automatically sync. Is there something I am doing incorrectly. I watched another video that stated I had to make the iPad the receiver first and the iPhone the sender. But they wouldn’t stay connected. The iPad kept switching to sender.

So if your using an iphone to record you have to wait for it to upload on the iPhone (recorder) and then click next on the iphone(recorder) for it to send to the ipad(sharing station)? If so, is there a way for it to automatically just go to the sharing station instead of you having to click next on the iphone, while its mounted? I'm a newbie.

Hi, how were you able to get the video to upload so quickly? Usually after a recording is done, it takes a while for everything to upload. It’s an awkward wait for the person waiting for their video. Please help!

Make sure the upload and download speed of your internet is fast. Usually, bringing your own hotspot device/LTE router to an event works best.

So if I use my iPad Pro with cell service to trigger my GoPro if I wanted to use another iPad as a sharing station would that iPad need cell service as well? I’ve been using the iPad that triggers the GoPro as the delivery system of the completed videos so I usually just spin a lil bit longer once the video is done so the client doesn’t wait long than I usually have the client airdrop the video and than the next client goes on the 360 and I push play on the iPad so the go pro triggers and than the same process for each spin! So I’m averaging about 1 min to 1:30 per spin to delivery of video per person !

For iPhone, you could use Airdrop as a sharing method. For Android, there is no system like that, unfortunately.

i have this same problem the only way is for the ipad to have cellular connection while the ipad is still connected to the go pro, it takes a minute for the video to load you can see when its done by clicking on the burger icon and and queue, sent files turn green

Hi! When using using a router with no wifi, does the IPhone would still need wifi to record? Also, does the sharing station and the IPhone used for recording need Wifi to interconnect the gallery? From my understanding, to sync the gallery to the Touchpix website and create a public URL link, we do need Internet to transfer all the videos.

Maybe you could upload to a shared dropbox folder and then send them a link. Make it valid for only 30 days or so if you don't want to host large files forever.

Yes, it works without internet as well. Everything will save to your device. And we have a queue system built-in as well. So you can share while you are offline, and the queue can be sent out when you do have an internet connection.

It all depends on the video quality settings. If the video quality is set to Ultra High Quality, the upload will take a while when the upload speed is not that fast. If your upload speed is not fast enough, you can choose to lower the Video quality. The videos are always saved on your iPhone/iPad in full quality, regardless of the Video quality settings. The Video quality option is only for the files that are used for sharing. You can check the upload speed with the Speedtest app when you are on location: apps.apple.com/us/app/speedtest-by-ookla/id300704847

Could be a couple of reasons that are causing that. When you are putting the app in background it can go out of sync. Also make sure that the devices are as close as possible.

Yes, that's correct. We recommend using a small hotspot device with cellular reception for events. Or use an iPad with data.

No, that does not work. You need the Touchpix app to make the sharing station work. The Touchpix app works on iPhone, iPad and Macbook.
