Love that Clemente cover, Theo. He doesn’t have very many playing does covers on any magazines, so that is a nice one to get. I have his 67 Sport which isn’t a large photo but it is the most prominent on the cover. I am surprised SI or Sport never gave him a cover when he won the World Series MVP. Yeah it’s a real shame he wasn’t on more US magazines. Maybe I’ll get the 67 sport, it’s definitely a cool cover! I didn’t go as far as pairing up card with this cover but maybe one day in the future. Thanks for the comment and watching!

Great cards and stories, Theo! I didn't know, that Clemente, was in support of Curt Flood, and sticking up for him, in his plight for players financial rights and bargaining. Makes that Sporting news card so, much more fun and interesting. I think my favorite, or one of my favorites, is the Post Cereal, Roberto Clemente.
