I wanted to use you as an example, but felt graded vs ungraded you road the middle because you grade your own cards now, and you collect rookies but also focus on player collecting so road the middle there. So you had me scratching my head. Lol

This was a lot of fun. I am zero percent surprised that I fall into the Mangini and Rick category. Grading is useful at times, but not necessary for me. I will never do a registry or crack for a resubmission. Really cool way to break this down, Theo!

This was great, Theo! Funny enough, Chris has told me many times I collect like Mike! He's the catagory I fell into. I agree minus the autos and set registry. But I have said I'd consider a joint registry and also have a few autos. So spot on! I also have a lot of Adam overlap!

Fun idea Theo, I didn’t see a Buy and grade uncontrolled and undisciplined category which as you know fits me to the tee. Based on your categories I would say I am somewhere between and Adam and a Rick! Fun video , enjoyed it!

Well let’s see I have huge player collections, but I love some autographs and Rc’s too so that category I can’t pick . But the others I’m definitely Graded preferably but I do have a lot of raw in the collection. And my preference would be eye appeal so condition. So I know these guys collection a lot . I collect like mostly like Lou and Chris I feel like with a smidge of Mike

I prefer organic scarcity: items that simply weren't intended to be collected. Im closer to Rick, except I dont do cards, I only do original photos and 35 MM photo slides. I also dont just collect type 1 photos, I also collect type II, type III, and even some type IV photos. I recently acquired a vintage Ruth image used on his 1920 w519 strip card for cheap. Its dated 1933 for publication purposes. I also bid and won on a 1954 wirephoto of Willie Mays, a late 1980s type 1 photo of Steve Yzerman, and a vintage composite photo with a rookie image of Ruth on it from around 1948. Nobody was around to bid much, so I won all four items for just two-hundred-dollars. Theres some incredible hidden gems if youre looking in the right markets.
