This was a wonderful vacuum for me for carpet and hardwood for 4 and a half years. Loved it. Wish I could purchase it again.

Thank you for the review. I bought the display model at Bed Bath and Beyond at half price and I am glad is not that bad vacuum .

I was using my uplight and my husband had fishing line on the bench and as I was sweeping the red light came on. I immediately unplugged it. the bristle brush had a ton of fishing line wrapped around it. I was able to cut it free and get all the fishing line off the roller. But I see a lot more line wrapped around the end of the roller. The clear end of the roller I can see a ton wrapped around. I tried pulling the line end but it won't move. Is there some way to remove that middle roller to get the line off. I do have a 5 year warranty so maybe I should go that way. It's just that I love this sweeper and hate to not be able to use it. Thanks for any advice you could give me.

Hi, there are gray colored fasteners under the head that can be turned with a coin. Unlock all of them to remove the cover over the roller. I don't recall if this allows you to remove it, but it should give you better access to cut out the other fishing line. Good luck!
