Shark Attacks My Spanish Mackerel - Hobie Kayak Fishing 2021

First kayak session for 2021 we are on the hunt for Spanish mackerel. Trolling dead baits around behind our kayak after alot of rain brings its share of sharks in close where we kayak fish... today I get a blistering run on what was going to be a great Spanish mackerel!

2 days earlier in the same area I had a big shark in tow me around for 1.5hrs! Will upload that video next. Damn tax man!

What rods, reels and kayak did you use in this?

Hobie Revo 16, Okuma Cedros 10000 with 7' Okuma Pressure point rod for the shark. Okuma Epixor 55 with okuma cerros 7' med for casting - Okuma Ceymar 6000 baitrunner on Okuma Azores 7' rod
