@@DillonCleans i think intelitech studios and many others are against new technology in vacuums including bagLess bins and dual rollers for example. It’s fine but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work

@@charlesrodriguez7984 the reason for them being against shark in particular is because those power things are wearable items and as you can see when he did the test on the last hardest carpet, the Stratos performed better visually than the vertex because it's power fins were less worn. Now this in itself wouldn't be a problem if annually you could just replace that brush but shark doesn't offer that as an option and you have to buy the entire motorized brush assembly for 90 bucks

Also when you push both vacuums forward it has less suction. There is a little mechanical "switch" on the bottom that when you push forward it open up a small hatch to allow for a bit of outside(?) airflow so that its easier to push forward.

Bro if your going to be doing a comparison make sure if you're going to be vacuuming make sure you go in a straight line don't go at an angle and make sure the carpet is also flat and flush with the floor so whenever you go over it you are basically guaranteeing getting as much stuff out of the carpet as possible and anal prevent any chances of it trying to bundle up as you're trying to vacuum

I always remove the HEPA exhaust filter on my Shark vacuums, I never noticed any dirty air coming out at all...even in the bright sunshine where you can really see dust. I dunno, I think the HEPA filter makes the machine run too hot and kills about 20% of the suction.

Glitter would be an interesting thing to pick up. I wonder why no one uses it for vacuum tests.

People don’t use it because glitter has got to be the worst substance to ever be invented. It likely will get stuck in the carpet and never come out. And whatever does get sucked up will be in that vacuum forever. lol in all seriousness, it’s just way too messy and hard to clean

Powerfins do a much better job agitating than the duoclean and zero m power heads. My choice would be the Startos since I love the red color on it.

Hello, I bought a vacuum cleaner online and I was disappointed; it didn't pick up dirt well. I relied on ads and presentations like yours. Please conduct more realistic tests. Any vacuum cleaner can handle scattered flakes and chips. Do more tests on carpets with crushed and ingrained dirt. Thx

Hi, I purchased the Xiaomi Vacuum Cleaner G9 Plus. It was very poor, so I returned it. Consider conducting more challenging tests involving crush/stomping on crumbs/dirt and then a vacuum them. It's more realistic test@@DillonCleans

i love my shark stratos but the powerfins have deteriorated and i don't know a way to replace them other than buying a new head, cant find anywhere to get a new roller :(

The only way would be to replace the cleaner head. I would call shark and have them send you a new one. You will likely have to pay shipping. And sometimes they won’t send you one for free you may have to pay half or something. But it’s better than paying for a full one. Unfortunately you can’t replace just the roller. I wish shark made it easier. But until then, I would get as much life out of this cleaner head as possible, then replace it when you’re ready

I've heard if you call Shark and complain enough and push back and get a supervisor, Shark has replaced the powerheads for free as part of the warranty
