Are you all there in the head? If that were the case then every business that exists would cease to exist. The great thing about a free market is that people can choose what they want and need in life. If as many people ordered as she said and she is liked, that is definitive proof that it made them feel better, which was their reason for purchasing. As an average non-overindulgant one time purchase, you're point assumes that all buyers believed a $75 hoodie was going to solve their life problems. What you should do is think about other people's perspective from both a positive and negative perspective and then try to figure out which one is more likely to be correct; otherwise you by nature miss most of the point being made. Master this my child and you will leave the douchebag fringe and enter upon the land of reason, logic and success.

All that can happen is that you learn and you grow unless you choose not to when you fail at something .. it sounds like to you, words are dangerous.. if you're that afraid of words - it points to a high potential that you're hiding from something you know deep down and being challenged by it is too painful to bear because you prefer not knowing the truth .. about something who knows.. this is just a free psycho analyzation that I couldn't resist offering because of how insane your comment was

I remember buying a t-shirt at a concert 15-ish ago for $15, now they’re at MINIMUM double the cost, usually more. and even still, a family member just told me yesterday that she wouldn’t pay $25 for a t-shirt. some people won’t pay the price, and that’s fine, they don’t have to. but it’s not like sophie is doing this when everyone else isn’t. AND she actually has QUALITY apparel. i would much rather spend this money on a hoodie from sophie than, say, one from a musician’s merch store. the quality isn’t comparable at all. sophie’s apparel is all cut and sewn, and is custom to her brand.

Life is hard, everyone deals with trauma in one way or another. Having clothing and widgets to let everyone know they are dealing with hard LIFE, dont get it. Gone are the days of the inspirational quotes "dont give up" "Persue, fight, win" "You can do it, and do it better than most" Proactive messages that tell you to overcome, conquer, fight and win.....seems to be giving way to "fearful., anxious, hiding in the shadows". How does that help?
@blobofconsciousness Жыл бұрын
Being vulnerable gives you more strength than you think. You don't have to hide under productivity to appear strong. I think the product is successful in doing that - Making people who sweep things under the carpet, uncomfortable.
@agylao68949 ай бұрын
@@blobofconsciousness But the issue is that people are marketing to those who are vulnerable and labeling them so putting "inspirational" quotes on something like clothing and selling it is showing that we are normalizing those who are dealing with mental health issues and are in victimhood, not to mention it is very counterproductive. Are you personally going to buy a plain shirt for $50 just for it to say "be happy"? As long as people, like the entrepreneurs, are enabling that attitude, that's what's going to make them more money. Almost everyone is trying to normalize mental health issues behavior and yet no one can see why this is so damaging.
