I see a lot of people saying that she should have gone with Robert because 1) he is a coffee drinker and 2) because of his deal. What everyone is forgetting is that he did not want to be the lead investor because he wanted to keep it, "women owned." He was only going to invest if Emma was the lead so that she could have more money. After Robert saw that Emma wasn't going to back down or negotiate, he helped her not only get Emma but also help her get a better deal... To be honest, I think because Laurie and Mark have been around Robert for so long, they picked up on what he was doing and jumped in to help him add the needed pressure to Emma. That's why, at the end, Robert said, "We got there!" and was genuinely happy when she accepted Emma's deal.
