I feel bad for mark. His offer is basically unlimited interest free loan for mass production. With that kind of loan, you can build million of the product with mark money and no need to pay interest for that massive loan. They could be giant in their field in no time long before someone could enter their market. Plus mark is the right shark for the industries. 3% more equity than robert but who cares. Mark bring so much to the table he deserve that 15% equity. The company could make more profit due to mass production funded by mark

They came looking for Robert and Mark. Obviously Mark already has a foot in the market, but when entrepreneurs pick one shark to demo their product, it's not by chance. At the end of the day, Robert had experienced the product, Robert offered more cash for less equity, and Robert had already done an advertisement and testimonial through his demo. Good moves!

@@msau9747 This is true. If you aren't targeting anyone specifically, but still want a shark demo, Robert is the most enthusiastic about any product and gives the best commercial. This is actually one of the better “High end” products I’ve seen. Not only does filling your tub not get you to the temperature you’re looking for but even if it did in the cold months but your own body temperature is going to bring it back up and like they said you’re draining it right after. Even if you used a horse trough and ice trying to keep the water clean would be such a hassle.
@mark030531 Жыл бұрын
Haven't gone off this video yet to research but it's kinda odd that they never showed how the temperature is set nor did they explain how it keeps the temperature, if it even does. That seems pretty expensive tech for a tub and I am honestly surprised that they didn't attemlt to get both Robert and Mark because if my thinking is right, that kinda tub is pretty damn expensive to run and so the target market isn't exactly the average consumer.

@@souldesire5932 - have you done any personal research? No one here knows exact reasons why a deal failed to go through.

@@warriormanmaxx8991 Hey, no I don't, but sometimes if you look it up you can find information about it. I don't watch Shark Tank much anymore, just clicked on this one. Probably of course something to do with the terms or money, but I don't know :)

First time seeing this one: Mark's offer was probably better - the other offer sounded better because of the 2.4m, but Mark didn't need to put a number after the 1.2m, because he said he would just straight up finance the purchase orders for a straight payback - no interest. So let's say there are 500 tubs ordered and the issue is the cash flow to pay to build them fast enough for scale - because customers are probably financing the tubs themselves with payment plans: He would pay for all 500 tubs to be built, and then he just gets paid back first and they keep all the profit on top (minus the obvious 15% that just always goes back to him). And Mark has a team (so his facilities could use it, and then the brand gets into athletes minds, and now you open a massive new market). Robert's offer isn't bad - long haul dropping to 12% is going to be more profits overall in their pockets - but it's still a thing that once that 1.2m loan money is gone for scaling, there is no guarantee of another loan to scale faster if they need too. Mark was basically offering unlimited funds for scaling. Probably why he was SHOCKED they went with Robert. I am sure it was dropping to 12% that did it. But it is a great market they are in - an always ready. filtered, cold tub - and it is a trend that is catching out outside of athletics. It's good for basically all of us, no matter how out of shape you are. Great product and concept, amazing sales - Wouldn't be shocked if their company has quadrupled in value since this episode.

:D :D :D I was wondering if I heard wrong.. 480 or 4800.. Who will buy that when you can just fill up your bath with cold water and add ice if you need colder (you can buy that forms for ice and stock in the freezer after every use).
