You're the only one who talks about the connection issue. We figured out the brush roll head works with the handle directly connected, but not when we put the middle tube in to lengthen the pole.

Thanks. Brush rollers were intermittent. Turns out connectors were not completely pushed together. Now works fine.

Third reason is (on UV650 and similar) is that there is a pressure switch that turns it on when the vacuum is unfolded (not in full upright position) this switch seems to die a lot. You need a safety torx driver to take it apart if this is the reason.

Wow okay, this seems to be my issue! If I "unfold" it too much, it stops working. So it thinks it's in the folded position when I'm trying to vacuum depending on the angle. Any idea where I might find this switch on my model? Shark-ICZ362H-Lift-Away-Multi-Tool-Anti-Allergen

@@eugeneredjackson sorry to hear. Sometimes when they over heat they will turn off to protect it from damage. If you have a dirty filter or it wasn’t emptied for a while it could be causing it to over heat.

Another possible reason the brush roll isn't working: Your wife's HAIR has locked up the roll. Ask me how I know this. lol

Haha that can definitely happen especially without the zero M brush roll
