There is no such thing as having an email address automatically verified. As long as the account has a pending email address in its settings, the account will forever be attached to that email address until it is changed to a different one. Essentially, having a pending email address has the same features as having a verified email address except you cannot enable 2fa, a pin, or receive revert emails for email changes.
