I'm shocked, this visor is constantly breaking! I have LS2 for $ 75 he is already 3 years old and everything is fine there. I bought this SHARK for almost $ 300 and after 2 months the visor broke. I looked at the forums, and there many have such a problem!

Thank god i found this... the advice in the helmets manual is joke! I changed the visor to a mirrored one on my brandnew Skwal 2 and i hope that there´s no trouble ahead.

Whether you replace the visor or not, the shield tabs eventually break due to stress fractures caused by the tabs being under constant pressure while the visor is open. If you store your helmet, try store it with the visor down, not up. This relieves some of the stress on the visor tabs (but will probably flatten your visor seal eventually?). I've broken 2 visors already at $100 each. It's a shit design for sure. Such a shame really. It ruins what would otherwise be a great helmet.

sadly my skwal visor just broken cause of that mechanism , and its visor in my country is about a 1/3 of its helmet price

Can these be replaced under warranty? Mine broke from merely opening and closing the visor. I have never tried to remove the visor...

Don't own one but if these are breaking so easily why not remove those side coverings first? they look like they have a screw of some sort in the middle ....at least you can see then where you're pushing/pulling the visor ends

because they actually tell you to remove the visor as the video shows? The original guides for these were very tight. The guides get replaced if you pull them up under warranty. Mine moves wayyyyyyyy easier now. And it hasn't broken after a couple of months. Also took nearly 7-8 weeks to receive the clips + visor, but my dealer came through in the end, with no instructions on how to replace the guides either. And no tools XD Also, they are a hexagonal security style bit, you could probably use an Allen key, but I doubt that too?

I took out mine today, literally 5min ago, to install pinlock and guess what..... visor still in one piece but pinlock doesn't fit.... Helmet pretty much brand new, had it for a month....

Buenas tardes, me ponía en contacto con ustedes para hacerles un comentario. Tengo un casco D Skwal desde hace 3 años, y con el casco en si “contento”, el problema de este modelo son las viseras, siendo mas concreto las patillas que enganchan al casco, llevo 2 viseras rotas por el mismo lado, y puedo decir que soy una persona muy cuidadosa, podría mandar fotos para que vierais que el casco lo tengo nuevo... Me comunico para que intentéis solucionar ese problema, ya que en mi caso voy a cambiar de marca... y la verdad que no os estoy dando buena “publicidad” a las personas de mi entorno. Mi consejo es solucionar este problema ya que ademas de mi he visto bastante criticas por esto en internet. Espero que tengáis un servicio de calidad y mejoréis en este aspecto, y alomejor en un futuro quien sabe, puede que vuelva a comprar un shark... Un saludo

Tres pantallas rotas por la misma pata,ahora tengo que comprar una cuarta. Más de 50 euros por cada una. Me gusta Shark ,el casco va muy bien,de hecho tengo dos Shark ,pero el sistema de pantalla es una basura. Como tú dices,yo también soy muy cuidadoso con mis cosas,y escuchar como parte eso al sacarlo con más cuidado que lo intento hacer es que me pillo un cabreo de mil demonios.Es que van a ser cuatro pantallas ya,que sin más de 200 euros en pantalla,es casi lo que vale el casco,incluso los hay por menos. Esto es una mierda. Tengo un HJC y es una maravilla el sistema,y estos Shark son un suplicio cada vez que tengo que cambiar la pantalla,porque tengo la negra y la transparente,y si me coge la noche tengo q hacer el cambio por ejemplo,pero en plena ruta escuché el plasss!🤦 Mil demonios me entró en la última,la negra,recién estrenada,el primer día rota por el mismo sitio.

I guess everyone does like me; open the visor all the way up and remove it. That's wrong. :/ we should half open the visor and then pull it out maybe. But yeah I broke mine yesterday in the middle of 300km trip :(

Mine broke too, in regular use and not while removing it. Don't think I'd ever by a Shark again, and would certainly not recommend one

I broke my visor today while trying to remove and wash it. I have Shark Skwal Hiwo in orange colour love it but this really was big dissapointment. Japanese products are far better than French...

Aunque no la desmontes se va a romper igual... Compre este modelo se rompio la pantalla y shark se desentiende del mismo, y supuestamente tiene 5 años de garantía, para nada recomendable

Una verdadera porquería de sistema. Levo tres pantallas rotas por el mismo sitio,la pata más larga de dónde encaja. Ahora tengo que comprar una cuarta pantalla,a más de 50 euros cada una.

Terrible design. I broke the visor on a band new Shark Spartan Carbon in the first week of owning it. Complained to the shop I bought it from & they said there was no warrauntee on the visors. I had to buy a new visor at around AUD100. The replacement visor has been removed & reinstalled twice & shows cracks around the C-section where the first visor broke. Only a matter of time before it breaks again. Would not recommend to buy Shark helmets.

Odradzam zakupu kasków tej firmy... chyba ze mi oddadzą za gloss (szybe) bo kas ogólnie jest znośny jak za tą cene ale montaż szyby tragedia!!! połamana na bank bedzie, poczytajcie fora. Mocowanie szyby tragedia TRAGEDIA .Wachałem sie miedzy Srark Skwal i N87 i żałuje po 2 latach zakupu , Bo nadaszła pora demontarzu szyby a to jest tragediaaaaaaa... mocowanie tragedia w Skwal . Osobiście juz nie kupie i odradzam bardzo.\( nie kupie szyby do tego kasku bo mysle ze montarz może sie okazać śmiercią dla nowej szyby ... Dla mnie kask daremny przez mocowanie szyby....
