Not your usual shark attack!
Vilamendhoo Maldives has a very nice house reef and the marine life is abundant. You can snorkel with sharks safely. Cool and awesome experience!
ALL INCLUSIVE resort so its EAT + DRINK all you can!! SUPER WORTH IT!! BEST VACATION EVER!!! :)
We stayed 1 week at Vilamendhoo resort on the first week of May 2017. All inclusive package. Eat and drink all you can! Very budget friendly and its good resort if you will be visiting maldives for the first time.
When snorkeling, you will be seeing a lot of blacktip sharks, rays, lobsters and eels. Its very safe to snorkel and the house reef is truly majestic. You can also snorkel with manta rays, whale shark and do a sunset cruise with dolphins!
You can check the room rates and book at vilamendhoo using this link: bit.ly/3Z5UUnX
Recorded with Samsung S7 Mobile Phone

I experienced a similar event at Rum Point in the Caymen's but it was baby manta rays doing the scrum. Dozens of people walked out into the surf as hundreds of the rays swept around and between their feet. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Many people stood I the water for over an hour, long after the school had moved on.

My wife and I arrived in Vilamendhoo on the 6th May '17 and had the most amazing 14 days there. We saw these sharks in abundance and the amazing thing is they don't touch humans!! We stood and watched a guy standing in the shallows with approx 15 sharks swimming all around him yet they never touched him. He was braver than I was!! They see another fish though and boooom!! It's dead.

Glanced Why? Sharks don't eat birds. The sharks were actually helping the heron (unintentionally) by forcing the little fish onto the shore which allowed it to eat them as well.

I had to laugh at myself because I didn’t recognize those black fish as sharks, so I was thinking to myself-when in the hell are the sharks gonna show up??! LOL!!! I had been watching some videos about great whites, and wasn’t expecting little sharks!! But, like I said, I absolutely enjoyed this video! As I will probably never be able to visit that beach with its breathtaking view, I am left to live vicariously through you and all of the other people who share their videos from all over the world!! Thank you so very much for that little “vacation from reality”!! 😁

The black fish are jack crevalles, the sharks are the lighter fish closer to shore. They are both attacking small bait fish and have them cornered against the shore. The heron is there getting an easy meal thanks to the jacks and sharks driving the bait fish right to him on the shore.

i M Mau fish can not be friendly, cos they do not analyze things, only animals can feel feelings, you should learn things before open your mouth to say your opinion

Great video. My wife and I went to the Maldives in Nov/ Dec this year. Velassaru . We also saw a lot of these Black Tip Sharks hunting for the small fish/ fry just off the shore. The Maldives are just how you see it, beautiful!... We hope to go back in January or February 19. When the locals say is a good time to go for the weather.

bluefairyuk , you should go to maldives! Its totally safe to swim with the black tip sharks. It may look scary but they dont bite at all. When you snorkel, its an exciting feeling. Its totally safe to snorkel in maldives along with the sharks 100%.

While watching sharks corner and attack fish right on the shore line you declare this spot the absolute best for snorkeling. Good luck with that.

I remember Allison Teal from the show Naked and Afraid show swam to her rescue boat at the end of the 21 day challenge. It looked to me that she covered a distance of one mile in that same water. How in the hell did she not get attacked. Checkout the episode and you'll see what I'm referring to.

Shark Attack: You have a better chance of winning your state lottery 3 times than being attacked by a shark. In the US there were 16 attacks in 2017. Sharks tend to attack things that are injured, dead or small enough to get in their mouths and almost always, if a shark attacks a human, they have mistaken them for something on their prey menu.

They are just small black tipped reefs. V common in Maldives. If you paddle in the water they take fright and swim away

Matt Smith why do vegans have to shove their opinion down other people's throats? You want to be one fine but leave the rest of us alone!! I am anemic and if I don't eat meat I get sick! You eat what you want and let the rest of us eat what we want. Me personally life would be dull without good tasty meat.

Matt. Are you a hypocrite ? Do can eat planets ? There are those in the world who think of planet life as "living" things too you know... so you are no better than anyone else if you do. All the creatures of the world eat various things, and that's the way it is. You talk about letting animals live their lives ? Well, you should let people lives their lives too. For many, that includes eating animals. It's part of the cycle of nature.
@PlanetBlake
@PlanetBlake 6 жыл бұрын
No, Ebrima didn't shove his lifestyle down anyone's throat. Your comment is silly. All Ebrima said was "get a fishing net". He didn't direct some kind of morally superior statement or judgement about what others should or shouldn't eat, as Matt Smith did.
