Feels like Kevin's deal is best. You partner with a global company and go with licensing, your market is gonna be 100x bigger than all these individual copartnerships combined. But hard to argue with getting 3 sharks on board
@kajlir58027 ай бұрын
Yea but then you lose all your values. And before you say values don't matter when it comes to money, it does, and Kevin doesn't understand that. The same people backing this company right now and supporting it/buying overpriced bandaids are doing it to support small businesses, they would not buy it if it was owned by j&j.
@MrDragonorp7 ай бұрын
I kinda feel that 3 sharks is kinda a scam, cause you get a situation of waters too crowded. the IP of this brand is the most important and its a very good IP, you are right in what you saying. I would have gone with kevin for 10% less ahaha
@irvinj7776 ай бұрын
I disagree, I think having 3 sharks who are experts in their own respective fields is a massive plus, especially Lori who alone is a retail mogul and can get the ball rolling with major effect. But hey, they closed the deal so kudos to them 🔥

@@irvinj777 yeah but at the end of the day it's still an easy product to copy, in a few years that "community support" will be forgot and they will fade away while the big brands take over

@dmondle Kevin is not in this space. He talks a big game about how he would flip the company to a major rival in the market, but if it was that easy these entrepreneurs would be doing this already. New negotiations with another bandage retailer would involve cutting more people in to the total equity of their business, they would have to lower their bottom line and agree to new contracts or terms of operation. This 3 shark deal is much better, Mark Cuban gave them a clear path of how he can accomplish getting them in to the market that they want; schools, hospitals, sports medicine. Why give Kevin 15% so he can sell your business to someone else and further decrease your equity? For 25% they got more money, all the help they need from these other 3 sharks, and an easier path to success.

This was the best episode of Shark Tank I've seen. Robert was inspiring and encouraging, though he chose not to make an offer for a clear reason. Kevin, instead of his usual tough approach, presented a thoughtful argument and extended a respectable deal. Mark shared fantastic marketing strategies, and both he and Daymond quickly backed Lori's partnership offer. Kevin immediately raised his offer to match and keep the competition alive. Most notably, Mark, Daymond, and Lori all pitched how they could add value to the company. It was truly a wholesome episode!

It would be so cool if they also had a pale bandage!The lightest they have ‘sand’ is to dark. And I have an Illness that makes me prone to bleeding, so I would love to have some that match me! The 5 tones they have will cover most people of color though. If they are only for people of colour it’s fine but they should say that that in the pitch. But it’s obviously also in the name of the brand.

“How will you take on the huge Bandaid companies?” Interesting irony, that BandAid is that brand, not the actual product. They’re so monopolistic that the product is mostly referred to by that brand name.

If you like the bandages you use this product isn’t for you. But why does it bother so many of you that this product exists? Feel like it’s a bunch of band-aid reps commenting lol

I concur. Ppl just hating. This episode is several yrs old and it’s obvious how browndages has affected the retail market because big brands are trying to compete by adding to their shade range.
