The whole story behind Scrub Daddy is that this guy was a factory manager at a 3M plant for almost 18 years. The material that was used was produced by 3M for a product they never launched and stayed in the factory warehouse for years. 3M never had any interest to continue using this material so they never applied for a patent. Big win for this guy. One day his wife asked him to clean the porch furniture and he got the boxes with the material from the warehouse and went home. That is how he found out that the material softens when using hot water and hardens when using cold water. Pure coincidence.

You can tell those men have never had to scrub a dish before in their lives based on their reaction to his pitch 🤣 Edit because if I get one more annoying comment I'm going to lose my mind. The joke is that the people who laughed are rich, because they are rich they can no longer relate to the everyday struggle of cleaning. This has led to them missing out on making even more money because they do not see how many people would benefit (and purchase) this product. This is ironic because the money that they have has prevented them from achieving their goal of making more money. No the joke is not that men are bad at cleaning. I just bought a scrub daddy off the shelf of a supermarket way down here in Australia. It's the first time I've ever seen a shark tank product make it all the way out to my country, and that's some of the most telling proof that this business has truly gone global with its success.

Hey same, I got one a few months ago after seeing it make it all the way to my local grocery store in Mexico. I always thought it was an overrated novelty thing, but nope, it’s really awesome and worth the steep price

Same, but in New Zealand - not at the supermarket though, but you can get them online or from Bunnings. After trying Scrub Daddy and Scrub Mommy, I am going to try some of their other products too. That being said, because I can be susceptable to marketing hype, before I bought more, I asked my partner which sponges he preferred and he he said he far prefers them, so they are our new go-to sponges.

The way this guy calmly handled the room is miraculous. He got some low-ball offers at first, and then patiently waited until he got the $1MIL valuation he was seeking (200k for 20% instead of his original 100k for 10%). He is the best entrepreneur to have ever done it on this show.
@andresv.88802 жыл бұрын
he didnt do it himself, if the others didnt start making offers he didnt seem likely to negotiate with lory, lory helped him by saying she believed in it, which mightve made the others jump in, which only then made lory reconsider. He himself didn't negotiate her down, though he kept his composure well.

I like how even when the guy was trying to bring Lori down like "haha I made you spend another 100k", Lori was just satisfied that she secured the deal. She saw the potential and didn't feel an ounce of regret. If anything, that guy just gave Aaron a bigger budget so he and Lori could make EVEN MORE money 😂
