But he lied. Check nutritional facts of coconut. First of all it's pasturized. Secondly, a whole coconut in every bottle? Thirdly, why does it taste so good. In Barbara's words, "so damn good."

He told them it was pasteurized, he claimed it was a "young thai coconut" which usually means unripened so he definitely could've gone into more detail about that but still not a lie, and taste is extremely subjective so Barbara claiming it's good is her statement not his

If I could find out why the deal didn't go thru the answer is probably there. Don't know specifics of young thai coconuts but regular coconuts are 1400 calories. I'll probably try it if I see it in the store but after that I'm out.

For anyone who may be wondering, the deal that Genius Juice made with Barbara Corcoran and Mark Cuban on Shark Tank fell through. Apparently Bayer (the entrepreneur) ultimately decided not to take the deal after the episode aired. Genius Juice raises $6 million annually and is projected to surpass $12 million this year. They are in 2,000 stores across the US including Walmart, Albertson’s, Whole Foods & Publix.

Great, healthy, natural and organic product, instead of the cheap crap you see everywhere. This is a premium beverage. Coconut has such a wide variety of benefits, from food & beverage, to cleaning, to skin care. This guy is not making cheap coconut water, he is making a coconut beverage smoothie with substance, that is why it tastes so good. Gosh I wanna try this stuff, now I need to research where to buy it. Yum. I admire the gigantic amount of work and money that goes into creating a product/business and running it. Just wow.

0:34 Simon Cowell would have buzzed their asses within the first 4 seconds I was sold until he said "we pasteurize it" 3:08 It will lose a lot of it's nutrients during the pasteurization process alone, also the freezing process can kill 10% and up to 80% of the nutrients. The Deal fell through:- After such a successful pitch and a verbal acceptance of the deal with Corcoran and Cuban, soon after the episode, the deal fell through. According to an interview with Forbes, in the end, Bayer didn't feel the terms were the right fit for the company: "We decided to fundraise to leverage our exposure from the Shark Tank episode in which the brand gained significant attention."
