They are led by the matrons. The death magic they wield has contorted their bodies. When a witch grows powerful enough, they slit their own throats to ascend. The wave of witchcraft that recently fell over Drustvar was begun by Lady Meredith Waycrest, wife of Lord Arthur Waycrest. When she called out to any power that could save her ill and dying husband, the ancient Drust king Gorak Tul answered, and promised that death would never part the couple, for a price. Having both been turned into undead beings, Lady Waycrest formed the Heartsbane Coven of witches and became their "Mother".

Hey Sharm idk if suggestions are aloud or not but can you do a cover for my druid, Vylsera? Her story is long but here’s shortly summarized. she was the ambitious daughter of a druid and a Sentinel. But her father died when she was young due to her nearly getting herself killed. She became a druid to honor her father, even though she was supposed to be a sentinel like her mother. Idk what the song would be about, I guess her experience through becoming a druid while also experiencing loss and sorrow from her father’s death.

How much I hated bfa for its shitty plot, I loved Drustvar. Amazing, creepy zone. And obviously cherry on top WAYCREST MANOR. God damn scary mansion in which (witch hehe) you clear first rooms upstairs, and it gets only worse - going into basement and from basement you go to goddamn catacombs. Good dungeon.
