Sharon and Dennis say their goodbyes as they prepare to leave the square for good. Phil is furious to discover that they are leaving, Sharon begs him not to reveal the truth to Dennis.

In fairness it was actually Nigel Harman that played Dennis Rickman that asked to be killed off as he'd had enough but I also agree what a fuking bad decision withing the space of a year Dennis rickman Den watts Andy hunter l Johnny allan Dead

I completely agree. Their relationship has such toxic baggage. Sharon's relationship with Dennis wasn't perfect but he would never do half of the things Phil put Sharon through.

Phil and Sharon have zero chemistry I can't believe they married, Sharon and Dennis were the best couple in EastEnders history, Letitia Dean herself has said that Sharon would still be married to Dennis today had they not killed him off and Phil would not even feature in Sharon's life.

@@suncore598 Phil and Sharon were toxic, yet some people are still saying they belong together. Just because they had a past affair, does not mean they are 'soulmates'. Dennis was the true love of her life so no idea why the writers decided to kill him off. And now, her son with him is also dead. I swear the writers just hate Sharon or something.

This is why Sharon and Phil are now divorced. Her and Grant and Dennis were the best pairings. Dennis wasn't perfect especially with zoe but he loved Sharon a lot. The reason her and Phil are together is because of trauma bonding. Keep coming back for more. However, the main reason was he was there for her when Grant abused her so she's grateful. However, when he lead Dennis to his death, knowing Johnny was evil, she shouldn't have forgiven him but she found out long after. Phil was a great dad to Denny especially because of that. He and Sharon wanted revenge on Ian when Denny died. And all the foreboding before Dennis died like the ice cracking as a child showed danger, feeling like everything was complete and going away. It seemed like going to America but it was the end of his life. Also saying he had a strange feeling. They'd almost got away. If Sharon hadn't mistakenly told Phil, he wouldn't have riled Dennis up to attack Johnny. However, maybe Johnny would have done something to them on the way to the airport or in America. He was evil too because he knew she was pregnant. Evil pat saying andy hung around too long was a foreboding as Dennis was bumped off too. Keanu and her are okay but not like Dennis
