Den is such a manipulator. As much as Vicki was annoying, I feel for her. She had a great line “I don’t see how you can be my brother and sister if you’re sleeping together!” She’s got a point. If it was your family it would be pretty creepy!

Den: "for you it's a crush, for him it's just sex" Nah Den you know it isn't and i think that's what really hurt and enraged Den is that Dennis was a rival for Sharon's attention and affection, and she could and actually did choose Dennis over Den. It's why Den's ruthless streak was so on display because it was about crushing the competition.

The creepiest line in this scene is when Den says to Sharon: "I don't expect you to live the life of a nun when I'm gone". What the feck? She's not his wife who's been playing away while he's been banged up she's his DAUGHTER for God's sake - who she has between the sheets is none of his business. She's early 30's and he's still speculating about who she's sleeping with! I always thought Den was obsessed and over-possessive about Sharon but that just seals it. Ewwww.

Yeah, I agree with 67DrWatson. There's always been a suggested hint of incest to Den & Sharon's relationships. I've seen some clips from the 1980s where Angie got jealous got jealous of their relationship, very weird for a mother to feel like she's competing with her daughter for the husband/father's attention. Pretty bolshy of Sharon to stand in front of her dad in only a shirt just after sex. Very odd, but creepily true to life for some people out there.
