A friend of mine who was walking closer to God than I was, told me that complaining gets us no where and to just stop. She said start praising God when you feel like complaining. If the sins of others still take over our minds, it's because we haven't forgiven them or others like them. We can't forgive on our own because we carry those sins and false ideas with us. We must ask God to show us what truth to replace them with. We try to sacrifice ourselves to end our sins until we forgive everyone. "If you had known what these words mean, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the innocent."

Born and raised as a christian, never was really too religious but was average and went to church. I can honestly say the day I liberated myself of religion, it was the best thing I did in my life. The same problems and struggles still exist but I am finally able to make decisions that are fact based and not based on false pretenses. Once you get this nonsense out of your head, you will never look at any religion the same way. You honestly become born again into a more intelligent human being. This is my testimony

Beautiful testimony too. I was raised in a southern Baptist church and they taught that God was a get you God. Took me a long time to learn the truth and the truth set me free. God bless you

There's a book called ... Reset For Parents that helped me a lot with this - with family members in general. I wish I'd read it 20 years ago! I realised that when I spoke to my little boy like that, I was saying, "I was never that bad, at your age!" How ridiculous. I'm so sorry that was my attitude. Even when upset with adults, I have to realise I'm a sinner just like them and am not innocent. How wonderful that the one who IS innocent of sin doesn't treat us the way we deserve. xo
