Lady, you are fantastic !!! I learned more from you in a couple of hours than I could have done anywhere else. Oh the years that I have let fear stop me from trying new things ! NO more !!! You have convinced me that there is nothing to fear. You make everything look so easy, and so fast. Thank you so much. I will be watching all of your videos, probably several times. Oh, I just Love you !

Thank you excellent tutorial this will recycle cardboard, make a cute rustic roof for my cottage, and be a lot cheaper than wood shingles

Love the shingles, perfect scale for your project. My fantasy project is a large terrarium, my husband bought me 2 sleeping dragons so I'm building them a cave. I used paper mache to build the shell & egg cartons tore up for the rocks inside & out. I'm learning alot fro you & other videos on youtube. Thank you.

I am so so glad I referred back to this before I started 'tiling' my turret roof..I nearly started from the top!!! That would have been a disaster. I am a very new crafter, inspired by you, your amazing ideas, tutorials and vision and your use of handy easily accessible materials. I now have no 'spare' time, its all used to do more bits n bobs. Im addicted :)

This is awesome. A couple of questions. 1. How well does this waterproof the cardboard after I clear coat it and 2. Do you have to fill in the bottoms with putty? can the clear coat work to protect it if I just spray it up in there?

I will try this shingle look on a shed . The shed will be 1/24 scale and will have a antique car inside of it . Do you have any ideas or video on the look of the wall of a old shed , like worn wood planks ? You do awesome work, these shingles will be great for the look I am going after . SOO KOOOOOLLLL. Mike Espo .

Mike, she has used scrapbook paper for the wallpaper of interiors. Check out a scrapbooking store and you'll find a design you're looking for. Your project sounds really sweet.

Hi! I just subscribed to you. I didn’t realize that your channel existed and I can’t wait to finish my dollhouse with your help! Can you use wall compound instead of wood filler?
@WhereTheGnomesLive5 жыл бұрын
I use drywall compound a lot in my houses. I use it as wall surfaces.. if it's not spread over a solid foundation then it cracks if moved or bent. Normally I'll build a solid wall then use the compound over that. It can be used to fill holes and cracks but be aware it can chip. I use wood filler to edge cardboard builds, like furniture or steps, it dries more solid than the drywall compound.

Thanks sharon for the amazing tutorial. I have a question about your little bigfoot elephant, how do i make it stand? I made 4 elephants and all of them are not able to stand. Please let me know if you have any tips on how to make the elephant stand thanks for your time I really appreciate it :)
@WhereTheGnomesLive5 жыл бұрын
I use props to make them stand in photos. You could try weighting the feet down with something first, before stuffing. Thanks for asking!
