Sharp GF-9696 restoration! Part 2 - project complete!

One of the most beautiful ghettoblaster Sharp GF-9696 arrived for restoration from its Latvian brothers. There were challenges, some unusual solutions, but I am very happy with the result. I hope the customer will also be satisfied with the result. Final - Part two.

What a pleasant end to 2023 - restoring a vintage '80s boombox - a lot of the early models of that decade not only looked good but were well built and offered decent audio quality. The GF-9696 shown in this video is a pretty solid unit. 👍 I am sure your customer will be over the moon when he/she gets it back all working. 🤞😋 All the best to you for the New Year. I resurrect and restore not only the super models like this Sharp, but also the simpler models that I think are also entitled to a second life ☺️When filming restoration, then editing, I take two or three times more time.
