Sharp like a Razor! 2022 Beta 250RR 2 stroke. Ride/Review

I really like the 250. Bike handled great and was very quick. For the type of riding that I'm doing in this video the 250 is tops in my opinion. I felt faster on it that any of the 4 strokes.
I do have a 2021 Beta 300RR and the 250 feels similar but doesn't quite have the bottom end grunt of the 300. I really like both of them. If you're in the market for a Beta 2 stroke don't rule out a 250RR. This bike rips!

I went from a 300 rr to a 250rr and to me it feels lighter , and it will lug good but for me the 250 is the sauce.

Being a Vintage rider that rides vintage bikes I have been looking at the Beta 200RR nothing but great revues, The 250 looks and sounds great but im not sure if i have the reflexes any longer to keep up with it...I'm 64 and pretty beat up from shoulder injuries over the years.. Nice Vid !

Mate I am in the same boat but 30 years younger! I just sold my TE300I and need a new bike in the next couple of months when it starts cooling off here in Australia, Leaning towards the 200 racing but don't know anyone with one to sample and no ride days.

I'm 44 and recently bought the 22 Beta 200rr and LOVE it!. It's light, has great power and can lug up just about anything. My only complaint so far is the turning radius. But other than that, it really is a great bike. I also ride a 22kx250x and I am always sore after throwing that thing around.

Nice video. The 250rr was the one bike that was unavailable at the Beta demo day I rode in 2020. I really liked the ergonomics of the Beta. Ultimately, I bought a 2021 TE 250i. I do believe a 250 2st is the best woods bike if you're not dealing with significant elevation changes.

I’m 42 5’10” intermediate rider getting back into it. Last bike was 2001 yz250 set up for woods. I live East Coast SC and will ride sand, mud,roots and (OH hills and small mountains in NC once or twice a year.) I have good clutch skills.. I like what some say with 300 doesn’t matter what gear/ or no biggie if I’m wrong gear. I’m undecided 250rr or 300rr. I have the chance to ride a 21 300rr in a month or so.

I’d go 300. Both are great bikes but the 300 is better overall in my opinion.

Rode a Yz 250 and 250X a few times, just feels like it wants to rip your arms off and you are always holding it back in the woods. Rode my buds 250RR older version and immediately thought it felt nicer for single track. Id like to play with progressive power valve settings once too.

Hey good vid! Question, i have to ride on open road for about 12 miles to get to my tracks what's this bike like cruising at that distance at say 50mph? and will i do any damage?

Perfectly fine. I dual sport my 300 beta. It does great. Just don’t hold it wide open on pavement all the time and you’ll be good.

Both are awesome bikes. 300 has a little more low end. I would be very happy with either one.

I put an RKTek head on my 250RR and it now doesn't give anything up to the 300 and still is livelier and quick. Thanks for the review.

No I didn’t. I know a guy that has one and he loves it. I did have a KTM 200 and loved that bike. 200 motor is very fun.

Hey man nice video, I am thinking of getting a 200rr or 250rr myself. Whats the speed like? Dyno tests say they can do up to 140kmh or 90mph. Obviously with wind that wont be the case, but just looking to see what you and other riders think. Do they have speed or are they purely a bottom end torque bike?

You talking top speed? I don't know. The bikes haul ass in the woods and on tracks. If your looking for a bike with a ton of top speed maybe get a different kind of bike. These are woods weapons. I'm guessing you could do 65 to 75 or 80 no problem though if needed for short distances. I've never tried maxing one out on a straight.

@Black Hills Dual Sport okay thanks. Where I ride, we have enduro style back roads and all that jazz, but often ride on dirt at high speeds getting places. Just wondering if it can handle that. I like everything about it, but wondering if it could ride around with throttle open, not rev limiter, for frequent, 4-5 minute periods
