The way Curry immediately rushes to find something to cover her with… he knows she’s so ashamed of her scars and is just trying to help no judgement 😢💔

Anyone else tear up when Curry walked in? It was so unexpected and hit me with a wave of emotions. This show was so amazing.

I wish the show had the original ending from the book; Curry and his wife taking care of Camille and teaching her to be loved.

Actually, the show changes it a little. He visits her in the hospital, fills her in on the arrest of her mother, and the two apologize to each other. There's a bit more hope there, as opposed to Camille last seeing Richard during the rescue.
@sadem10455 жыл бұрын
@@Hard_Boiled_Entertainment It was never her who needed to apologize. I almost could not finish the book after the way he treated her when she was her most vulnerable self. I hate it when the person who sees or hears about someone's scars decides that they themself are the victim. It absolutely disgusts me the way some people have reacted to this part of me that I cannot erase.

I'll admit, though, that his reaction was a lot worse in the book. And not just because he never apologized.

sad that a man would just ghost a woman because of a mental illness, although he also walked in her in bed with someone else

Man this part got me soooo sad in the book. Detective saw her scars and was like NOPE.

Fortunately this episode adds a scene with the two of them kinda reconciling in her hospital room, parting ways on good terms with a better understanding of each other.

@@sadem1045 And again, fortunately, they changed it for the show. Here, instead of disgust, Rick comes across more as, while stunned at the sight, understanding how it explains so much.

Amma got jealous and that's why she back upstairs and didn't go after the detective
@indigo72893 жыл бұрын
No, Amma says it’s because she needs to remain adora’s “good girl” meaning that if she tells the detective, adora will cease to love her and start annexing her like Camille.
@bobstacks840510 ай бұрын
@@indigo7289Which is bullshit. I'm surprised you didn't notice the look on her face after Alan told her to go back upstairs. She knew what she was doing. Amma's a very jealous girl, she showed it when Camille went with Richard instead of her early on. And it's the same reason three girls died because of her. It's all in the details. She's a manipulator.

you can tell amma is scared but weather shes scared because of what mama will do or if shes scared because the police might find out what she did is another story. amma was sick since birth and got worse with the abuse had she had better parents she might has still had the sickness like her mom did but wouldvve killed.
