7C means it's made in 1997. I love these just as much as the Panasonics and Hoover Windtunnels. The 90s was truly the clean air upright wars.

Hi - I've had this machine for about 30 years - but the motor burned out last week. Sorry to see it go. Looking at a SEBO upright now. Just hope I won't have to keep replacing vacuums every 30 years now. I'll be happy to send you the extension wand from mine - let me know if you're interested!

I had a purple model that had the hose that came down into the bag door. It had a flipper diverted on the back of it. I got it brand new from a true value in town.

If I were to pass up on a Panasonic, I would've for sure had Sharp as my next brand of choice to get. Though when it comes to microwave ovens, I've always liked the Sharp Carousels more than the Panasonic Inverters.
