Yall it is staged. Go to 37:23 look in between the 2 large obsidian towers and check the little obsidian tower to the right and then check his helmet, boots, and swords durability on the bottom right hand of his screen. Then go to 37:26 check his helmet and boots. They randomly have more durability so his gear did not break and his sword only goes down a little because it was not going to break in the fight. And there is water on the little obsidian tower to the right in between the 2 larger ones when there was not. (the one previously talked about)
