Nice one this sharpo! Surprisingly it’s rather steep coming out of moor street! She had load 9 on. I had a birthday treat seeing her bark up wilmcote

Thanks Liam. Much better when they arrive at that platform, I remember when they used the far platform and there were so many pillars blocking the view of the locos.

Good one Mr S..bet you started to twitch when Orange Jacket Man wandered into view as she climbed up through the tunnel

He wasn't a problem, amused me when he shouted "stand back" to the people on the other platform. Apart from getting bowled at Smethwick a few weeks ago, that's the only steam loco I've seen since the SVR gala a month or so ago.

What's not to love about God's Wonderful Railway?

I know what you mean & it's a lovely sound as it climbs up from Moor Street station.

Really atmospheric video, great stuff. Does the loco go all the way back to Moor St to cross over, rather than using the release at Snow Hill? (And they’re still showing white lamps at both ends! Tsk!)

Thanks. Yes, I think the cross over at the end of the platform is just for trains heading towards London from platform 2. There does not seem to be any signalling for a train coming from the London direction to use that cross over.

I never knew the climb from Moor Street was so steep! Was it always like that, or was the original Snow Hill more on the level?

It's the same as it was back in the old days, being in a tunnel I suppose it would be very difficult, and expensive to alter the original trackbed.
