Great song. And I love the reference to Kintsugi. It's the Japanese art of repairing pottery with gold. The cracks aren't hidden; they are embraced. I believe that it's a good way to live life as well: to embrace your flaws and make them into something beautiful.

It shocking how great of a lyricist Lucas is. He has this ability to write emotionally vulnerable lyrics you can relate to The boys are amazing at making music. Also interesting what their new sound will be like, because this is a little different but still HA at its core. "I’ve been lost alone inside my head Where the devil on my shoulder’s crying wolf again. I’ve started thinking that I’m better off dead." That one hit me hard

3:31 The songwriting is so good here. The climax comes right at the end, the way the chorus kicks in on the upbeat and just everything is so incredible like this is the shit that makes me fall in love with this band, was introduced to the band during the filming of 60cm of steel and have fallen completely into the deep end with all of the music, absolute iconic band.

I hadn’t heard of this band until I went to see Pierce the Veil at Nottingham Arena. I don’t expect much from support bands usually, but I was absolutely blown away by these guys. They opened the evening and were totally amazing! They were followed by Dayseeker and if I’m totally honest they were both better the PTV. So much so that I have had both in rotation on my play list since, with The Noble Art Of Self Destruction my main go to. Hopefully these guys will tour with a headlining gig soon!
