ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Fr Hasbro keeps pumping out Spideys based on a kids show that ended decades ago. They need to focus on better and more relevant source material imo, like the comic books! Our last comic based classic Spider-Man was RYV!

Mafex did it already and any hasbro attempt would pale in comparison. The only problem with Mafex is the proportions are a little too petite. The Japanese tend to be shorter and smaller on average so that's reflected in the figures. Hasbro being affiliated with Disney means they're on a nostalgia train right now. This is their version of nostalgia however that mostly applies to cartoon and movie fans not comic ones. If they're gonna stick with that it would be nice to see some figures based on Spectacular Spider-man or X-men Evolution.

@@toner3566yeah the Peter head sculpt is not as good as the Peter and smythe version. But the Spiderman head sculpt is the best to me personally. It’s molded and not painted which I think the Walmart one was close but this one is way better.

This is my favorite Spider-man figure period. The pizza Spider-man was my first ever figure is what got me into collecting, and i have all the other recent ones, but after watching the cartoon and stuff, this figure just feels so nostalgic for me.

They need to quit using the Sunfire shoulders all together. The Falcon figures both use the Sunfire body, but they have different arms. The shoulders are a lot bigger to allow the arms to rotate upward fully. They look great and function perfectly, so I don’t understand why Hasbro doesn’t just use those shoulders on all of the Sunfire mold figures.

I missed the Walmart exclusive and I’m in love with this Spiderman. The shoulders in a vanilla pose is too noticeable and they definitely could have done better. But when he’s posed you can’t even tell. And the shoulder issue for me goes away.

I was really impressed with the vulture figure, I know they said they are taking a break from the vhs two packs. But honestly Hasbro just has a few more figures like chameleon, mysterio( more show accurate), blade, punisher, maybe Harry Osborn. I hope they can do single releases to finish out the show.

meh they can do shocker, rhino, hammerhead, kingpin, lizard, kraven etc when almost all of them have huge problems in regards to 90s animation. silvermane, seated alistair, robbie etc. however personally im only interested in chameleon, kraven and perhaps one of the ladies - the doc friend of kraven or the cop lady

Yeah the Spidey body is thiccer but of course no double torso or toe POA, but he does look nice overall and more like the show. Vulture is just whatever to me, not my favorite look. I actually still don;t own a TAS Spidey, well I own a bootleg of the first version with cell shading, which isnt terrible, messy web apps is the biggest thing. So I want to own an official one still but they just keep becoming hard to get for retail after sell out, Dope review bro,

I prefer this to the Walmart version as a better representation of the animated series. The Walmart figure has ugly cell shading, and the body is too small compared to how he looks in the show but The Walmart version does have better articulation, and I wish I could combine the two to make the perfect animated figure, but I'm going with the two-pack
