I really like that they fixed the wide shoulder issue of the MK L by placing the joint more inwards the torso (which is something the Model-Prime Armor figure also does). That oddly shapen unibeam bothers me a lot, though.

Hey shartimus , To swap thanos left arm you can just remove its wrist and paint king pins arm and fit it on there but you can’t remove the upper gauntlet but it looks awesome because he had the upper gauntlet in the movie . PLEASE TRY IT !!

One of the coolest Iron Mans and thankfully plenty of accessories! I sure hope the new head peg is just for this figure for whatever reason, the ball is so much better. To see regression in a newer figure is very disappointing!!! A RDJR Head would have taken this figure over the top, but it's sure great still.

The head sculpt is about the same, but SHF is far more accurate in terms of paint with the champagne gold. Neither are fully accurate tho, especially because the SHF uses a concept version of the suit and not the final one.

The gold paint on SHF is bland specially on the face undoubtedly.. There also no carvings on the jaw. You can even compare the paint with the movie ML gold paint is perfectly accurate with the movie whereas SH comes out ugly. Also about the concept art ML used older concept art than the one SH used that's why the arc reactor is inaccurate but SH really became lazy and rushed their work. The figure looks like they made a custom of their own

@@gamebond6248 Sorry but that is just plain inaccurate and biased as hell. "No carvings on the jaw" what does that mean exactly? The jaw has every single detail that is featured on the movie helmet. If you want my instagram to get a picture of the head close up, let me know. Even down to the cheek details, and there are four lines on the side of the helmet which is pretty exact to the film's model. And those lines are sharp, unlike on the ML where you can hardly tell the detail is there. The only missing paint app on the head is a silver line that goes from beneath the ear back unto the faceplate. Which the ML doesn't have either. And once again, look at promo shots from the film (or look at the film itself, although that is pretty error-inducing since the suit is only featured in like 3 scenes that have very different lighting situations), but the gold is a light, thin champagne gold. Sometimes almost silver in scenes, which the SHF has. And even if the "bland gold" argument stood as a valid argument, that point is made completely moot by the dark metallic cherry red featured on the SHF which blows the Hasbro molded red plastic out of the water. And what you're saying about the concept art is completely false, as well. There is only one and only concept art that was used for the suit , and those details changed but were given and used by both companies at the same time. It was leaked almost a damn year ago, too. The on-set suit used for it was the Mk 50, which has a heart shaped reactor as well. You'd have me believe they changed the heart shape in an early early concept art (when originally in production, Iron Man wasn't even supposed to have a new suit) and then went back to the heart shape? Try again, please. That's just right out false. There are plenty, PLENTY of things to criticize the SHF for, and there's plenty of things to criticise Bandai for in general, but they still made a figure that objectively looks better, at 2-3 times the price (which has gone up to 4-6 times the price on the after market), and that's fact. Comparing both is like comparing an SHF to a Hot Toy. You just can't. But trying to convince yourself the ML is objectively better is just fooling yourself. Again, there's plenty of shit things Bandai does, and there's plenty of low, low quality shit they sell collector because they kinda have the monopoly (their never ending overpriced exclusives, their shitty accessories, and let's not even get started on their recent alternate heads) but let's stay fair and objective.

Was at gamestop and spotted the 80th anniversary vintage ironman figure. The legs were scuffed up and the left eye slot on both the helmets had a chip hanging off. Chose the best looking one that i could, and brought it to the counter to find it was 33 bucks. The figure is great but 33 with the scuffs on it?! Passed on that. I just wish hasbro was consistant with hits instead of having hits and misses.

There's an Endgame Thanos figure from ZD Toys that looks quite decent, with an interchangeable Gauntlet, removable helmet, and movie-accurate Double-Bladed Sword. The Gauntlet could have been painted better, but for me it was worth the price I got it for (about $50AU).
