ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Yeah I understand why they picked the figures they did, but if they limit it to four I would have had those two over Polka Dot Man and Peacemaker. More important in my opinion to the film, and Rick Flags yellow t-shirt would have looked cool on a figure, and I loved Ratcatcher 2s outfit, and if it came with a Sebastian figure too even better.

This wave of figures exemplifies my primary issue with McFarlane figures, especially their DC figure: Bad engineering of the articulation. I hate how the 3 male figures all have their torso sculpted as a single rubber overlay.

What McFarlane should improve on: Stop worrying about seamless joints, remove the rubber torso. Switch ball joint ankles for ankle rocker with boot cut swivel Sell the figures for two pound extra with better paint and extra accessories (I know that on figures based on properties owned by WB they can’t use guns) If they are gonna make a build a figure, don’t release a better version as a single figure, it’s bad business

I was already going for Bloodsport and Peacemaker as they both were my most favorites from the movie (kinda hope they make a Ratcatcher 2 cz I absolutely loved her too) I wasn't too keen on getting Harley and PDM but that King Shark is too tempting. Seeing PDM looks better than I thought, I'm definitely getting them all. Thanks for the review!

For that size comparison Harley with WW. Don't forget WW is taller because she have high heels and Harley doesn't, thats makes a lot :). Also sizes of real actors are different that movie characters. For example Tony Stark is higher then Downey, thats why he must wear high heels on sets.

Thanks for this wonderful review man ❤️ McFarlane has grown over the years to produce much better versions of their toys. Good paint job and comfortable articulation but I'm still waiting for that day when they would be able to make figures as good as either Marvel Legends or Mafex. One more gripe is they should add more accessories to the figures other than the stands. Come on, we at least deserve that when we are buying them for 20-25 euros per figure 🤷🏻‍♂️

7:04- 7:15 polka dot man has an extra gauntlet because he has one gauntlet replicating the effect in the movie(I have seen the movie so it is legit) where he opens his gauntlet and throws out the polka dots,that's the reason one gauntlet which came preinstalled in the figure is bigger as it shows the gauntlet is opened throwing polka dots with the effect included with the figure and the other extra one which is little smaller shows how the gauntlet will look when it is in rest not throwing polka dots...

Yea, with all the colors in the world why use Deathstroke’s color patten for Bloodsport? His original look from comic was red mask with green camouflage, then they revamped his look with Deathstroke’s colors?? Nonsense. Also, why is the jaw of his helmet orange? That’s not correct. The king shark baf would of been amazing if they didn't do the damn plastic pants. It renders his leg movement to practically nothing. I would take visible joints on his legs over the seemless diaper pants. Bugs me so much. Like we can't pose the bug guy almost all. There's like no realistic action pose we can really do with him.
