The exact point i am unsure but the more overlord cycles u enter the less exp you gain as well and its impossible to keep up with the exp deterriation curve. I dont know the exact numbers but eventually its better to put points into defence and offence rather than trying to squeese as many levels as possible. Also the xp range eventually becomes the whole map and isnt necessary any further. The cap for Majority of buffs/debuffs is 800 stacks after that u get increasing diminishing returns until the hard cap of 1000 stacks

Multy-cast mastery doesn't sound too impressive. It is about 20% more casts iirc. I suppose it edges out raw additional damage masteries because it makes you generate more stacks of debuffs / buffs?

It helps you reach the cap for multicast faster. For it's cost it's.pretty good but with finesse it's not necessary as much anymore
