So, Frogger exists in a universe where people understand that they are animals used in biology lab dissections, but are not surprised that they're wearing people clothes, walking around, and talking. Even after they hear the frogs talk, they say they need to get the frogs back to the bio lab for dissection.

I'm coming to Nick's rescue, sort of. I haven't set foot in a mall in probably a decade BUT I do remember mall shopping with girlfriends, as well as with my family during the holidays (I'm roughly the same age as Nick, Joe, and George). In these shopping trips, I'd get roped into waiting for a girlfriend or sister or my mom to try on something, and have nothing to do. But I NEVER smelled candles to pass the time. That's crazy people behavior.

I believe Purina's Chase the Chuck Wagon has the distinction of being the hardest to find Atari 2600 game, because it was a mail order giveaway attached to a product aimed at a species without opposable thumbs.

There was a third Frogger board game! It came out within the last 10 years, it's crazy! I actually have it, and I've played it several times. I can't compare it to the previous versions, though, because I haven't played those, but from the screenshots I could tell they were different. Also, it's kind of funny that Charles Martinet wasn't the first person to land on "high pitched Italian stereotype" for Mario.

I hate to say that this knowledge exists in my brain, but.... Philly Flasher is a gender-swapped version of a previous game, with a man on the roof and women on the ground, called... **heavy sigh** ... "Beat 'Em & Eat 'Em"

This was the most delightfully awful SMC ever. I completely lost it with the accordion frog in need of inflation with a bicycle pump. Just…what? Also thanks George for the mug update. A 3-D Jacques Chirac mug may be the most esoteric mug in existence. Another uninteresting mystery put to rest!

It seems like the early video game market is similar to smart phone app stores. Only difference is that Atari crashed a whole market with its disregard for regulation and app stores get worse and more clogged with trash as time goes on.
