Shaun and David Cassidy were teen crushes for me. All these years later after many of us have experienced loss and are grieving, his voice is still strong and healing. I think of the words "I'll meet you halfway" when I go to bed every night and think of my family and friends who have passed. Thank you for the powerful and intimate performance and for sharing the clip. I'm glad he and his family experienced the miracle at the end when the brother they knew and loved spent his last moments on Earth with them.

I remember being a teenager and being so completely in love with Shaun Cassidy 😍 ♥️ My wall was completely covered in his posters. I went to see him a few times and screamed at the top of my lungs with every single other girl in the audience!!! I loved David Cassidy too, my first love was Shaun. I was so very sad to hear about David's passing 😢 I couldn't believe it. He was still young. He was a teen heart throb!! So very sad. Rest in peace David 🙏

@@darlenekozlovskis6907 The Hardy Boys was so good. Our talent from these years was just that, talent. What they do today is sick satanic devil worshiping with sex, orgies. It is sick, no class, no one in Hollywood is who they seem to be and in a year or two it will all come out.

@@micheleberara2842 That’s funny Michele. I never understood why girls would scream? I mean, singer isn’t going to stop singing and grab the closest girl and leave? It’s funny to me when girls do this mania. Anyway, about 30 years ago, Shaun was in NYC. He hit on my friend. She wasn’t interested at all, but she gave him her number. He called and she had me answer. I was trying to tell him she wasn’t the type of girl he might be looking for anyway. She was wild. He may have known she was a challenge, and liked that? She didn’t like Blonds either. Wasn’t he married back then anyway? He doesn’t seem like a cheater. I would have enjoyed hanging out with him just to talk. Too bad she didn’t invite him over instead. Then I would have experienced what he was really like? He was very mannered on the phone. She had a great apartment. He would have enjoyed simply having a drink and chatting. She was Canadian. She didn’t grow up with all that hoopla of the Cassidy’s. So, he may have liked that too. 🤷‍♀️

Made the cassette which was played over the PA system. The school was outside in the yard and my friend and I taught the moves as it went. I think I still have the cassette. David Cassidy was my first concert in fourth grade my mother took me to see him at the Civic Center in Baltimore Maryland and I was so high up he looked like a little dot wearing that white outfit with all the fringe but boy was I in heaven that day watching him run across that stage singing. For the longest time when he sang Brown eyes I could’ve sworn he was singing to me.😀 I would daydream during school about David rush home put his albums on and lay there and stare at all his posters on my wall. Couldn’t wait to the tiger beat magazine came out to run and see the new photo in there because I always knew he would be there somewhere. Definitely my first childhood crush and Friday nights were long awaited for that amazing list of TV shows the Brady Bunch the partridge family the odd couple love American style!!

I got to see you in concert when l was pregnant with my son and it was a honor Shaun. . I wish l had seen David too yet l saw him in my dreams twice. I can see the hurt in your eyes when you talked about David. We who loved him are still hurt too knowing that he is gone yet he's not forgotten.

Shaun was one of my teen crushes, I was very fortunate to get his jacket at the end of one of his concert , I was in the first row with my cousin she took me. He sang the last song to me n gave me his jacket cause I was shaking with cold. He still has a wonderful voice. I watched him on Oprah Winfrey and I loved what he said. That he realizes he gave special moments to his fans n still can see the little teen age girl in the 50yr old woman. When I hear him sing I to remember my teen age heart.

I took my daughter and her friends to see Shaun in concert for her 13th birthday. Even as a Mom, it was really amazing. They were nuts about him. That was 40 years ago. Never saw David, regretfully. Did see another Cassidy, I believe, Patrick, touring with Joseph and His Technicolor Dream Coat. Very talented young men.

This is so great. I loved David Cassidy from the time I saw him on The Partridge Family the very first time through everything and when Shawn first started singing in touring I got to see him in concert and actually say hi to him as he was running up on stage by me. Two very handsome beautiful talented Brothers, and it's awesome to hear Shawn speak so highly of David. None of us are perfect and all of us have problems but it's great that they obviously seemed to work things out and stay relatively close.🙏❤

I saw this and thought how very ironic that Shawn played the Parx Casino in Bensalem, PA. I had been a fan of David Cassidy since I was 13 years old in 1970, and saw him in concert at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City in 1971 and at the old Spectrum in Philly in 1972 ( tickets were $6). I was also fortunate to meet him back in 1993 when he made a promotional appearance at Tower Records also in Philly ( What a sweet man). His last concert in the Philadelphia area was a free one, in the Summer of 2009, at a park ampitheater right up the road from where Shawn performed this night, also in Bensalem. Unlike this concert, however, that night was a bittersweet one for David's long-time fans, for he was not the person that tens of thousands of females fell in love with so long ago. He forgot more than a few lyrics to his hits, complained about the lighting and snapped at someone who asked him to sign a piece of memorabilia, stating that he didn't do that anymore. It was probably a combination of many things (problems that were becoming too big for him to overcome, no doubt), but I often wondered if there was also some embarrassment on his part, with the realization that he was actually doing a free concert when, at one moment in time, he singlehandedly sold out arenas all over the world. Was heartbroken when he passed , but so glad that Shawn continues to keep his songs, and his memory, alive for fans of both of them.

@birdsfan57 You must consider his strength was at an end. Too much for his still delicate soul. I don’t want to think about what he went through … and that we chased him halfway across the world. We have no idea what his life was really like afterwards. We shouldn’t judge him. He gave us his best and we love him infinitely for that. RiP Darling David and thank you Shaun for loving him 💕
