“easier to teach an aggressive person restraint than a passive person to assert themselves.” Incorrect. The aggressive person may appear to understand, but it’s harder for them to actually show restraint, wherein reserved personalities are typically conscientious, and will learn quickly, thoroughly, and put into place that which indeed works correctly.

Give an example because I don’t think you are correct.

@@Find-Your-Bliss- good question. 12 years working in human behavior. Most aggressive people are high dominant personalities. They want to own it, control it, run it, be in charge of it… they have low to no self-awareness and little to no empathy. Self control is very difficult for them. So even if they can “learn” restraint, practicing it is problematic. It’s rare that they admit they are wrong. You know people like this. Passive personalities are typically, conscientious and supportive. They have high empathy and are very conscientious. They focus extremely well. They learn quickly and if they believe it’s correct they practice it. In fact, it’s hard for them not to practice it if it is the right thing to do. it may appear like they are nonassertive, but there assertiveness comes in still, guarded tones. Assertiveness does not mean, raising your voice, demanding your way, etc. Assertive means ensuring Your thoughts are heard and or acted upon. In fact. Conscientious personalities are extremely dogmatic - They just show it differently. They make the best negotiators. Unfortunately, we give outgoing personalities too much credit because they appear like they are in control and hence, can accomplish anything. When in fact, the reserved personalities are typically the ones who accomplish far more. The dominant personality will simply dismiss you after a while - a short while - wherein the conscientious personality has the tenacity to assert their ideas… Forever. Don’t equate an outgoing attitude with correct assertiveness. Which is probably the biggest problem for most people - we think having many words and aggressive nature we are assertive. The problem rises when the conscientious personality doesn’t think the issue rises to the level of continual argument. As well, they typically will assert themselves to the right people at the right time. Dominants continue to press an issue all the time which is not assertive. It’s nagging and confrontational. In short, conscientious personalities - reserved/passive - focus, learni quickly, and practice asserting themselves when they need to in a different, harder to understand way. Dominant personalities typically focus on what’s in front of them, in the future, never looking back and hence, their assertiveness is more aggressive because their fuel is accomplishment. Depending on what you’re trying to optimize, both personalities can be assertive and have a different effect on those that they are asserting themselves to. Hope that helps.

There is a K drama that this show is based on. Also there is another doctor show called Beautiful Mind (2016) with a guy with lack of empathy but is a genius doctor. He cant sympathize with the patients but he can sure as heck pin point what they got.

Talking company business in front of the patient is pretty unprofessional! Hope that lady had an epidural. A C-section without one is liable to really piss her off!
