@@kingshukdas9876 audience is there, problem is bollywood mafia controlled distribution racket. They open their crap films in maximum screens and dont allow quality movies from outside the clique to get any space. OTT has revealed that there is a market for quality content, but Bollywood, like a disease, is also infecting that space. Hope Shaunak will use his accolades to create a space for good content and not sell out to Bollywood the way Anurag Kashyap did.

Calling commercial cinema crass is wrong because you are basically practicing elitism. Most of the people around the world including Indians love to watch larger than life engaging and entertaining movies after completing their hectic jobs unlike binge watchers. And there's nothing wrong with it. Similarly documentaries have their own audience but their number is less.
