you are wrong about the red stripe on the engine. There are 350's which doesnt have that red stripe.

actually.... this is a r171 ,second generation, build between 2004 and 2011. Still great and amazing car, build like a tank, short legged, really loves to run, really planted. Take good care of it, and it will serve you a lifetime.

Ive got the same car , but with 40 000 miles on the clock. A bit heavy on gas . Its quick , really quick. If you were going to buy an SLK I would say get the 350 or the 55 , leave the 200 .

I have a 2005 Mercedes Benz slk 350 with the AMG performance package....i bought it a few weeks ago....maybe the owner did some upgrades. It came with black rims, front slotted rotors, xenon lights with the daytime running lights that look like the nike check. Vents in the front, and on the hood it says powered by Mercedes looks dope....

it doesn't have the Air Scarf Vents in the headrests or Parking Sensors Back and Front or Headlamp Washers like my SLK200 UK Version

Great review other than the red stripe on the engine. I have a full bore 3.5 and mine is grey.

Most likely because it is a pre facelift model.

I think the difference is just the engine size and slight power difference. Still essentially the same car

Kinda untrue. The way you know it is a SLK 350 is when you start the car. It is much louder than the 300.
