My Great Grandfather Scott from South of Selkirk brought a bag of Scottish Thorne trees and planted them on his land in Michigan. As a child we always stayed with our Grandparents in an old farmhouse that was built in the 1800s (totally haunted) by my Great Grandfather on that land. We were told not to go near the thorn trees. These trees lined the entrance of the driveway. My mother stated the trees protected us from unwanted visitors and she would wink at us. Years later the trees still hover over a very grown up land because no one has lived there for years. When I tell you the trees are totally beautiful they are and still growing strong. I have read some of the folklore of these trees and now have found out they were planted to protect. As a child I did not know this but always felt safe around them.

About the wee coffins found at Arthur’s seat. I am pagan and sometimes pagans will use tiny representations of loved ones for instance, to use in a burial ceremony when they either couldn’t get to their funeral, or if the person was dead long ago, like a great grandfather for instance, or to bring peace to someone they revere for some other reason.

Shaun, my friends an Aussie but his backgrounds Scottish, he told me when Robert the Bruce went to an island after his exile, he watched a spider build its web, wind takes it down then spider rebuilds it again, and from that he takes inspiration to fight the poms off his land, Scottish legends are sick, my mate also told me that a part of Scotland's population also comes from this group called the Skythians , even Parts of Irelands population come from a weird Celtic tribe who migrated through Egypt then through north Africa Hispania, poms are weird bunch too, after Roman empire left England to focus on barbaric tribes , Anglos, Saxons, jutes slowly took over the local Brythonic population, and drove the local Celtic speaking people into wales Cornwall and Brittany(France) , even the lowlands of Scotland was a bit Anglo(not Saxon since they were in Wessex) man history is great

Also what you called the devils pulpit, you mentioned is associated with the devil and witchcraft. As a witch I can assure you that witches actually don’t believe in the Christian devil. Witches are nature worshipers and are very careful about there intent as they believe any energy they put out comes back to the sender. Hope this helps. Love your videos. I don't put much faith in spirit photography, but I had an interesting experience at Adamton House near Prestwick. My Air Force unit was coming home from a trip to the Middle East and we flew into Prestwick Airport for an overnight layover. They put us up at Adamton House. Of course we were all intrigued by the sort of spooky manor architecture. We asked the staff if it was haunted. They said not very, but sometimes people claimed to see a figure on the grand staircase. I took it with a grain of salt. The staircase was beautiful, though, and I was sure to include it in my photographs I took around the house. This was on my 35mm camera, a couple of years before I got a digital. After I got home and had the film developed, I took the photos to work to show some of the people that had been on the trip with me. One guy said, "Oh look, you got a picture of the ghost." I hadn't remembered seeing a ghost. There was no discernable figure, but there *was* an orb in that photo of the staircase, and it was the only orb on any of the photos from that roll. So that was weird.
