Shaving My Hair Into a Mohawk

♥ In today's video, I attack my hair with a trimmer and create some kind of mohawk. I'm not sure what counts as a mohawk and what doesn't, but it's more or less what it is now. I know it doesn't look super professional but as I say at the end, this is just a fun hairdo I can have while my lengths grow longer! :) Hope you liked the video!

@@Tronderose Yes you could but it can be intimidating going to a barber shop and they're harder to come by where I live. You also want to make sure they don't cut it too harsh for a feminine face. I just cut mine myself cause i'm shy and hate going to get it cut. If your up for it then go ahead that works too.

I agree sometimes it’s best to just do it yourself. A little tutorial on KZbin won’t make you a world famous hairdresser but you’ll get the look you want and nobody will notice you didn’t pay $200 for it to be honest. I went from back length hair to shaving my hair off in one go, and now I'm at "bum length". I agree with Katrin, after shaving the sides of your hair, it's annoying when it grows over your ear and it looks shitty if you don't keep up with it. I had a nice death hawk (top is extremely long and shaved sides) with aqua at the tips; but I had to let it grow out because vey offices don't like that style of hair. So this video made me remember the good old days were I had fun with my hair. Thank you again Katrin ❤

I've had this exact cut for about 2yrs now. I've not touched the top n continued shaving the sides n back. I have very thick hair n have always been annoyed by managing it but this haircut eliminated my hair stress almost completely. Super easy to look good once the top grows. Spend exponentially less on upkeep compared to before.

My hair grows so quickly I loved my pixie cut, but the sides and ears would start looking so bad so quickly. I just got a Mohawk a few weeks ago! I said "this is what grows out weirdly, let's just get rid of it," and I love it! It's easier to maintain for me too because my friend was able to just trim it for me with pretty good results (i can't see the back to do it myself lol). It's so freeing to see an adult take control of their aesthetic and not he afraid of their job having an issue and I appreciate this so much!

Ive been wearing a Mohawk for about 6 months I’m not fond of the hair on the side s of my head either and 25.00 every few weeks is not how I want to spend my money either, so I bought clippers although I followed the instructions I went a tad too short i should have used the 1/4 but I went with the 1/8, (no tears, it will grow back )anyway I think you did a great job, and I like the color it’s like an hombre you can’t recreate, you look good girl! I literally have the exact same haircut as you did today, yep it's hard to figure out how the back's gonna work, and it grows out so quickly so shaving it basically every two weeks is a must to reduce the maintenance for sides.

The one thing I ALWAYS say to my barber is “I need to get rid of these bits” (the tuffs on the sides) You know the end result so it’s all just practice, each trim will be easier/quicker. Looks good and like the head shaving video you rocked some total Tank Girl moments during the process

Honestly, this made me want to come to Sweden to do this for you hahaha. I shave my undercut and my bf's hair and fade it. It's very hard to this on yourself. You look very good with this hair style! It did turn out a bit uneven, but i don't think it's noticeable
