My old neighborhood. Lived on McRee, went to Roosevelt High school, attended Mass at St Margaret of Scotland, and worked at Cardinal Glennon. Thank you.

Thanks for showing me Juanita. My mother years back, when giving our address at Famous Barr for something to be delivered would always say, "4329 Juniata, NOT Juanita." Apparently a lot of our stuff would be delivered there by mistake. I had a good friend who lived in the pink house opposite the main gate of Shaws Garden on Flora Pl. on the corner. Did not know the ruins at the lake came from Lindell Hotel. Compton Water Tower brings back memories when I was working at Incarnate Word Hospital on Grand and Lafayette. That STL U hospital used to be owned the the Missouri Pacific Railroad and operated as a hospital for its employees. Those homes on Flad were beautiful. Love the pavilions at TG Park. My father and I were walking through the park on day and saw Colonel Sanders addressing his managers at one of the pavilions up by Grand. And yes, he was dressed in his full regalia, white suit and cane and all. Thanks for the memories.

Nice job filming Shaw and Shaw's Garden. They really do have a great day lily collection. The best one in the history of the world and the United States. Next time, check out Shaw's old museum. It's been amazingly restored. Also, really nice footage of the Garden Glow. Perhaps a subject for a full length video?

Thanks so much for watching and the comment. I really appreciate it. I will have to check out the museum again. I was in there for the Chihuly art- they had some of his pieces in there also a few months ago but I didn't explore a whole lot. I am definitely hoping to go to the Garden Glow this year! You're exactly right.

@@organstl They apparently went through great lengths in restoring it. I saw this documentary about it, if you're ever interesting in nerding about Shaw's old museum. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bl6zammAZrOEnZIsi=McYbZjNv9lVLafot
