It's simple. Prison is basically a day camp. They get free education (including college), any kind of skill they want, and more things than a kids summer camp. I'm a retired corrections officer so I've seen it. That's why the recidivism rate is so high and they never get rehabilitated. Prison needs to go back to making smaller rocks out of bigger rocks.

My husband speaks to his daughters mother all the time, ABOUT THE GIRLS. And im perfectly fine with that. They've never crossed the line, and I talk to her every single day, we were not always close, but only for the first 3 months into my husband and I relationship beginning. And after that we realized its all about the kids, and we have to give them a great life. I love her because she's their mother. Shes family. And the only thing that matters are the kids. PERIOD!!

Lucky you. She must be at least half matured. My step daughters mom is hard to deal with because she is bipolar. I try my hardest with the communication but she's always bitter.
