I'm pretty sure Shawn Johnson will always be the "IT girl" for the gymnastics of our generation. She's just awesome all-round. Great personality and great gymnast. It's a shame that she had to retire. And I also love how Shawn got second all-round at the Olympics in 2008, but she got way more attention than Nastia Liuken. my heart broke for her last night in beijing in the all around. She is always so consistent, never falls, nastia always has errors but managed to pull it together when it counted. Unfortunately her body will probably not let her be this good in london. Doubtful she will stay around that long. I have never seen this video - great compilation of Shawn's events. I think if the Olympics had been in 2007 & not 2008 she would have walked away with at least 4 (all around, beam, vault & floor) if not 5 gold medals. I adore Shawn - she is a complete human being.
