This is one of my favourites to come back to and just laugh. Always gets me moving when Shawn starts up. He makes a bland backing track so much fun!!

100 percent. Literally only him and Eric Gales I know of that are brave enough lol. Andy plays some awesome solos here as well so that's cool

@@zaccyo trying to remember. Rusty cooley was there also watching. He used to frequent the music store I worked at During that time. I played bass so I was there for Jonas hellborg. The three of them were pretty amazing. Too be honest, I didn’t like Shawn’s tone too much. Very clean with lots of delay and reverb. And his playing was more atmospheric than shredding ( but still great) The interaction with Jonas and Jeff sipe was on par though. There was a video of the show on KZbin for a while. I think you can buy it from Shawn lane’s site now.

@@Flying_turnip187 very coo man! You still playing bass? Were you aware of Shawn's music before seeing him? I have seen the full video before, and I really enjoyed it. Interesting that you didn't like his tone!.. are you generally not a fan of his tone?
@Flying_turnip1872 жыл бұрын
@@zaccyo still playing bass. I was actually a big fan of his first solo album. I used to sleep listening to it for years. I loved his solo tone on his solo albums . The atmospheric tone of the trio albums I didn’t care for too much.

In opinia mea daca există chitariști mai aproape de Shawn Lane în tehnică și execuție aceia sunt Tony MacAlphine Greg Howe și Govan Guthrie

You got to be some kind a singer to be a country star. Not exactly the best singer, but just sing.

Lane was technically better but I prefer Timmons playing. Sometimes less really is more. Shawn had Malmsteen disease, where the player feels more is more.
