This song he wrote was about his break up with Camila Cabello and he is really good on stage I saw him when he did his Shawn Mendes The Tour and this was before Covid and he’s Canadian Portuguese and he has been professionally singing since 2013 so he was about 15 years old and my favorite song by him is In My Blood it’s about anxiety because he has anxiety himself so he wrote a song about it.

Shawn Mendes is a fraud and should stop plagiarize Brazilian artists like he did in his latest album in the songs: • Higher (Shawn) x Parado no Bailão (Mc L da Vinte) • Song for no One (Shawn) x Admirável Gado Novo (Zé Ramalho) And he even had the audacity to say that he was very influenced by brazilian culture. I mean, what a shame for him. Here in Brazil we have a very rich culture but one thing is being influenced and create something new, another thing is to COPY!

@@nathandjohnny I understand your pov but trust me it's not a case of similarity. It's a pure form of copy and paste. It's not fair at all and it's nothing new that foreign artists come to Brazil to steal our culture... one of the famous cases was when Rod Stewart, in his song Do Ya think I'm Sexy, stole the famous song Taj Mahal by the brazilian artist Jorge Ben Jor. And Rod admited that he did steal the song.
