Wow this guide is really well made! one thing though, the intro is finger picking but the chorus is pick; how do you make the transition fast without stalling to grab a pick?

+Alec Xia Clamp the pick between your index and middle finger or between the middle and ring finger! Or just strum with your fingers :)

Its d Ud basically you are supposed to play the up strum a little louder . Now keeping the timing might get difficult like this so after the first downstrum you can do muted or really soft downstrums and after that you do the accented UPSTRUM . So actual pattern is d - - Ud. But you can do d d d U d . Its more about keeping the rhythm and less about how precisely you strum.

Nope. If you just play or sing it by yourself it is perfect! If you play along with the record you should put one on.
