@@breno7950 Totally! According to Pillman's biography he was planning to debut in the WWF at a house show by coming through the crowd & jumping in the ring to stare down HBK (who was then champion). He hadn't got the chance to run this idea by Vince or Shawn though & as we know the road accident completely changed both his oersonal & professional life. A healthy Pillman vs Shawn in '96 is one of those "what if's" I'll always think about when I remember Brian.

He chose the name himself because it’s a mix of his late adopted sister’s name and his step father’s last name, he chose to “strip away” his family connection to not piggyback off of another dead wrestler father, he chose to come out in the sliding throne for his entrance to just emphasize the ridiculousness of the name ‘King’, and chose the style for his beard too. All of this information can easily be found online instead of entirely trashing WWE without wondering if the wrestler himself had any input on his presentation. But hey, maybe he should have went to impact right?
