DIY projects are either really fun or intensely frustrating, there is no in between. Glad you're having fun with this renovation! I didn't used to be a DIY person but the last three houses I've bought have needed some serious upgrades so I've learned a lot by necessity. Also I love those kitchen light fixtures!

1st question: when you make the choice to redesign your kitchen, how do you go about picking what counter tops, what fridge, other appliances colours, base board when you have no experience with it? I'm sure going little by little helps because otherwise it feel hugely overwhelming (though this seems like it happens anyway when it comes to house projects). 2nd and 3rd questions: I think you mentioned this is one of the earlier reno vids, but why did you decide to re-do the entire kitchen, living room and dinning space to begin with? What sparked the idea? And do you plan on talking about it in one of reno vids? If KZbin is something you don't want to do down the line, interior decorator and HGTV house flipping is your calling for sure!

I remember when I watched your Hermioneissocoollike video and it opened the floodgate that was Nanalew into existence as I knew it, and now you're designing and renovating your OWN HOUSE! Its crazy how much has happened over the last like 6 years hahaha! I love the kitchen, the clean slick look of it blows me away and I absolutely love the light fixtures! I think they're a great contrast. The patterns you chose are really clean and will go with the color (all of this you already know since you designed it hahaha), The pink fridge will take a bit of time but I think it will end up being a staple in the kitchen!

Your house is coming along so nicely. I love home renovations. Love the hexagon tiles. I'm stealing that idea for my future place :) As for Deloris, Don't pluck her. Get electrolysis or laser her. Plucking only encourages the blood supply to that hair to get stronger so the hair comes back even thicker than before. Electrolysis saved my life.

So I have Lola who loves to grow back every two days. One time, I plucked Lola out and realized there was another Lola-like presence next to the now deceased Lola RIP. It wasn't notorious and it didn't affect me but I was bored so I plucked that one too. And a few more too. What a mistake that was. Not only did Lola come back but she brought friends. There's 5 Lolas now, I call them N'sync. I always have to be on the lookout for N'sync because they're always trying to come out and do their thing and I'm not about that life. I know the struggle.

Actually, I also have a hair but it grow between my brows. It’s white and within a couple of weeks to a month it grows out to like head hair length. By the way, I LOVE YOU AND I THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS PRODUCING GREAT CONTENT!!

The Hex tile looks great !!! I had a hard time looking for the tiles that I used in my bathroom instead of the small 6x6 size for the wall I found some black slate tile in a 16x16 size that I used for the floor and walls and I got such a super deal on the tiles because it was an unusual size I used it for the counter tops in my kitchen

I totally get the situation with the paint. Our house had really bad flood damage from rain while getting a new roof, so now everything is being painted and new carpets and we have mold that we just found and all that jazz. ANYWAY, my mom and I got a bunch of samples and hated them all. We finally just chose a color and had it painted, and my mom and I both still hated it. We ended up finding a color we liked, got a sample, and painted over what the painters had finished. That one was better, so the painters had to redo that entire room. lol
