If you guys can appreciate these great but under appreciated artists - your music appreciation is greater than most. This group made 2-3 great great famous songs. Made dozens more that were more obscure. They had amazing talent but stayed generally out of the limelight after their big songs.

I have been a fan of both the Walker Brothers and Scott Walker since they left America and settled in the UK in 1965. Please show more of there work and Scott's solo work. 🙏 The sun ain't gonna shine anymore or Baby you don't have to tell me or Hurting each other there are so many. Scott's Just One Smile is heart breaking. A little story is he was offered a few million by Andy Williams to go back to the US as he thought Scott could be the next Sinatra but he turned him down. He became one of the most respected singer songwriter and composers of his time never looking back.

Scott Walker is one of the greatest voices ever, the Walker brothers stuff is amazing but his solo stuff is on another level everyone should have Scott 1,2,3 and especially Scott 4, then later he went extremely experimental and made music from a different planet not for everyone but I love it

The Walker Brothers were an American pop group in the 60's-70's. They were not actual brothers. They had some really big hits such as "Make It Easy On Yourself", "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine (Anymore)", My Ship Is Coming In" etc.

The Walker Brothers were an American band who relocated to London in the 60s, their major successes were in the UK. This track was a relaunce of the band in the mid 70s Scott Walker the lead singer went on to have a solo career. He was promoted as a crooner by his label covering several standards and he ventured into writing his own material and was influenced by the French artist Jacques Brel. He had some major album success with his first 4 solo albs his own self written solo material is very deep but his voice has always been revered. He drifted out of the music scene for a number of years but released a series of very avant garde music which is not to everyones taste , however David Bowie amongst others regarded as a major influence.

I was very surprised to see this song come up on your reaction channel; obviously somebody requested it. Usually people do the artists' big hits first rather that lesser known songs like this one. I discovered this song when I was going through some very rough times in my life only I did want her back. I think that the fact that he woke up and spoke to her empty spot in bed shows that there were big regrets and he did indeed want her back. I think that, in most cases, marital breakdown usually hurts almost everyone involved. A person can spend the rest of their life learning how to cope.

An amazing vocalist.. I love crooners. I discovered him through way of Bowie, who admired him very much. Their vocal styles were impeccable. Like Sinatra, Elvis, and not can call, and I can't forget Johnny Mathis. Check out Scott Walker's big Louise, Montague Paris and blue, and funeral Tango. You'll find them all interesting.

I love the song. For me, the best of the Walker Brothers. Dark and how Scott uses that voice. Heard it first on radio and didn't know how to place that voice. I thought he was a French crooner for some reason. But loved it and eventually found the young American. But what I keep looking at in this video whenever I check it out is John Maus. 70s Californian Cool. Denim, collared shirt, shades, blonde locks. Smooth.

Been watching these reaction channels and hardly any of them react to Mull of kintyre by Paul McCartney and Wings. It was such a huge hit. To this day I believe it's still the biggest selling non charity single of all time in the UK.. He wrote it on his remote farm in Scotland where he had retreated after the messy break up of the Beatles. He went there to save his sanity as he feared he was having a nervous breakdown.

Not brothers, Noel Scott Engel, known as Scott Walker, John Walker (real name) and Gary Leeds aka Gary Walker, British American group because basically they formed in 1964 came to the UK in 1965 which is where they made their names. Scott was the talent he continued composing up to his death in 2019, everything from pop to latterly some really experimental and Great music There's a very good documentary about him kzbin.info/www/bejne/enyzeHqth8-HotE There was a BBC Proms a few years ago which was magnificent kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmKbfJeqed2hi9k A HUGE TALENT
